Created by Italian craftsmen using designs and processes passed down from generation to generation, these terra cotta pots are unique in our plastic, throwaway society.

Unlike American or Mexican red clay, the Italian terra cotta clay is green when wet and is used as it comes from the ground. The clay is handpacked into chalk molds which create great detail in the finished products. The items are then unmolded, hand-finished for smoothness and finally kiln-fired at 2000 degrees for four full days. It is during this high fire process that the clay turns the traditional reddish-brown color.

Terra Cotta is one of the last hand crafted products available on a wide scale. It adds a classic and timeless feel to any environment.
